Copy Text For Delete Bar
Version 01.06.00
Added 11 Sep 2006 (last updated 22 Jun 2012)
For use with Sibelius 4 and Sibelius 4.1
Copy Text for Delete Bar copies any system text (such as Title, Composer, or Instrument name at top left) from one bar to another.
Typically you will copy from bar 1 to bar 2 when you want to delete bar 1 without losing the system text. The plug-in cannot delete the original text, but it can optionally hide it. It will disappear when the bar is deleted anyway. If a bar number is duplicated in the score (because of bar number changes), you will need to make a selection that excludes the duplicate of any bars you want to process.
Updated 24 January 2007: The plug-in now restores the hidden state of copied text, and makes an attempt at restoring the multiple fonts in a metronome mark. It also documents the fact that multi-line text will become single lines.
For Sibelius 5 and later, use Move System Objects For Delete Bar
