Tag Bar Number

For use with Sibelius 4

This plug-in finds all the bars in a score that have the same displayed bar number (due to bar number changes), and makes a list of their \"internal\" or \"consecutive\" bar numbers (the numbers that would show if there were no bar number changes).

It can also place the same piece of text in all the matching bars, and you can then use Find to go to those bar numbers (since Go To Bar only goes to the first bar with a displayed number).

So, for example , if \"internal\" bars 1 and 5 both display bar number 1, the list would show 1 and 5, and you could place the text \"~Tagged bar\" at the start of bars 1 and 5, and use Find to get you to those bars. Later, you can filter \"~Tagged bar\" and delete the selected tags.

This can be especially useful in large scores.

For Sibelius 5, this is no longer needed, as Go To will navigate to multiple bars with the same number.
