Hi I'm wondering what is the quickest way to make screen shot 1 look like screen shot 2 in a 6/4 bar?

I've tried the divide duration plug-in, but get screen shot 3, which i then have to go in and renotate the beams so the division of the rhythm is correct.
It's a multiple step process that I'm going to have to do many many times in this score...Is there a quicker way to do it? Perhaps even globally?

Select as a passage > Press alt+2 to set to Voice 2 > Press shift+V to swap 1 and 2 > Delete voice 2

that's a nifty little trick

it actually creats dotted quarters instead of quarter tied to an 8th, but i think i can live with that

Would it help to set the global beaming of eighths to 2,2,2,2,2,2?

no I still get weird beaming
even when I try to select a measure and 'reset beam groups', nothing changes...

Have a look at this plugin. It will paste the rhythm and beaming on the clipboard over the existing pitches.

It's far from ideal but is probably quicker than doing it manually.
