Avid Link keeps telling me there is one plug-in update. Why? And then inside next to Products there is a red dot with a one in it.
On my Products page under Sibelius Ultimate there's a link for Included Apps & Plugins (4). I click it.
Next page says
AudioScore Lite 2020.1.14
PhotoScore and NotateMe Lite Installed 9.02
Sibelius Sounds 7.5.1
Sibelius Sounds Updater 7.5.1 Installer
The top three items have Install buttons. The bottom item has a Download button.
I hit the Install button next to the top button and run the installer for PhotoScore and NotateMe. It completes and logs me out of the mac. I log back in and nothing is changed.
I toggle on Only Show Updates. It shows the PhotoScore and NotateMe item only,
Why can’t I update?
Maybe I don't have the apps installed it's trying to update? How do I check?
Just ignore the invitation to update PhotoScore/NotateMe if you already have version 2020.1.14 of that product installed: it is a bug in PhotoScore that it appears to need an update when it actually does not.
If you already have Sibelius Sounds version 7.5.1 installed, then you do not need to install the "Sibelius Sounds Updater v7.5.1": the updater is only for users who have an earlier version of the Sibelius Sounds sample library installed. Avid Link is not able to know which version of Sibelius Sounds you have installed, so you have to know that yourself.

Thanks, Robin. But every time I restart my mac it puts up a notification that there's one plugin update. I don't really want to turn off notifications for Avid Link, although I'm tempted. Avid, please fix this.
I have the full Ultimate version of PhotoScore and was (a while back) dealing with the same issue. I could not uninstall the lite versions because of a Windows error popping up saying I did not have permission to run the "Uninstaller". Nothing I did would allow me to run the "Uninstaller", so I did the following:
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS but this is what I did. I uninstalled PhotoScore Ultimate, deleted every Neuratron & PhotoScore folder on my install drive, and then went back and deleted every leftover entry of Neuratron and PhotoScore in my registry.
I reinstalled PhotoScore Ultimate and have no issues with the notification.
