Feature request: Ties over systems

It would be nice if there were more ways to change the shape and position of a tie in Sibelius. This is especially the case with system breaks and between tight chords. In hand-set editions one often sees that the ties are thinner at the beginning of staves and the vertical position is different than at the end of the staves.

In Dorico, it is possible to move a tie to independent vertical positions at system breaks at the end or beginning of a system. It is also possible to make the tie a little thinner at the beginning of a system. Is there a way to do this in Sibelius?

The picture shows the possibilities I've found in Sibelius so far. Are there other solutions? Thanks.

I'm guessing you've explored the adjustments in the inspector?

Ctrl+Shift+i

And if you want the changes throughout:

Ctrl+Shift+e and then select slurs and make adjustments there.

These are the only places I am familiar with.

In Sibelius you can't have ties with different vertical positions at the end and at the beginning of systems.

Current workaround for such cases: For the note(s) at the end of the system click the L.V. checkbox in the Inspector. For the note(s) at the beginning of the next system hit Enter on the 4th Keypad layout (Tie to).
Now you can nudge the ties vertically independently from each other at the end and the beginning of the system.

Thank you Joachim. This is exactly what I did in the 2nd example. In the third example, I used slurs to start the system so I can control their thickness. I should have titled my post "feature request".

You can edit your original post and change the title if you wish.

Thank you Bob. Is it possible to control the thickness of L.V.Ties with a plugin?
