I bought Sibelius software in 2017 and updated to Sibelius Ultimate 2018.4 in Window 10 PC since 2022. My Sibelius Ultimate encountered a big problem suddenly after 12 May 2022 and I could not open my Sibelius for my daily works. It shows I should "activate" the eLicense. I have used the method on avid.secure.force.com to solve the problem. But this problem happens frequently after resume normal. About June 2022, I can not resume that eLicense problem again and I could not resume my Sibelius Ultimate any more. It is a bad feeling of me and my daily works have been stopped up-to-now. I hope to keep contact with AVID support center for your good service of solving it. I have tried to join the AVID support center for their help but I can not find the official email way do that. How could I solve this problem and how could I upgrade my Sibelius Ultimate to prevent this problem happen again.

The title of your post suggests that an anti-virus utility is involved, but the body of your post provides no information about that.

If you have any sort of anti-malware utility on the system, you should always define exclusions in the anti-malware utility for "Sibelius.exe" and for "Avid Link.exe".

If you uninstall the anti-malware utility, does Sibelius start working again?

Please attach screen-shots of any error situations you encounter.

If you do not have an in-date "Update and Support Plan" for Sibelius, then you are not entitled to free support from Avid for general issues. You might be able to obtain free support from Avid purely limited to licensing problems. You can create an online case under "ACCOUNT SUPPORT" at:
