hello,

I would like to know how does the installation of the (EDU) program on two terminals works.
It is mentioned that it is possible.
I guess it is about using the licence number twice (and not any more), on two separate computers.
Then, does that mean that I can run Sibelius on two different computers independently at home?
My spouse, music teacher, and I could work independentely on our own computer.
Plus, Do we get the iPad version as well ?

We already own Sibelius 7.5, and we wish to get Sibelius ultimate. These answers will definitely help us to make the move.

The terms of the licence do not permit you to share your licence with another person. The licence permits you to activate Sibelius on up to two desktop/laptop devices, for your own use.

Anybody can install and use the iPad version, but by default at the tier of "Sibelius First". An iPad user can sign in to their Avid account in order to use Sibelius for iPad at the tier level corresponding to their licence.

Thank you for your prompt answer. So in order to activate Sibelius on two desktop devices, two different computers I guess, I can use the same licence number during both activations.
And an education version of the program would also allow me to sign in for an ultimate version for one iPad.
Am I right ?

Yes.

There is no education "version". The product is the same: the only difference is in initial purchase pricing.

If you have a licence for "Sibelius Ultimate", then you can sign in to obtain the "Sibelius Ultimate" tier on iPad.

If you have a licence only for "Sibelius", then you can sign in to obtain the "Sibelius" tier on iPad.

Absolutely not!!

You need either (a) a current Subscription Licence; or (b) a current in-date "Support and Update Plan" with a Perpetual Licence, for the product tier that you wish to use on the iPad.

You cannot exploit licences for products which are out of support.
