accidental and preceeding notehead spacing
Posted by Matiss Cudars - 04 Aug 05:35PM
Hi,

Is there a way to determine the space between an accidental and the preceeding notehead?

After painstaking part preparation, I changed the time signature for a large section of an orchestral score from 4/4 to 2/2 and now all the parts are messed up.

I've attached a screenshot of how 2 bars of a flute part look like. Even when engraving the part exactly to how it was, the accidentals are still often overlaying on noteheads.
I presume there must be a simple solution to solve this.

Thanks!

The solution is "reset note spacing".

I THINK Reset Note Spacing will clean that up. But it looks to be on the borderline of just having forced too many notes onto a line of music.
