Is there a way to have Sibelius automatically add bar numbers on a split bar?

The split bar command in the Ribbon has an option to have the bar numbers of both split bars be the same, or to have them be 1 bar number apart. It has no option to force the bar numbers of the split bars to be visible.

If that is what you want there is really no good way to do that. The Number bars plugin can be used to add text with the bar numbers on selected bars, but the bar numbers will not update if the numbering changes again.

I don't really know any way to actually force bar numbers to be visible for specific bars. It might be nice to be able to do that.

Actually, you can just add bar number changes to each of the split bars and the numbers will display - see screenshot.

Yeah, that's what I have been doing, but it isn't automatic which is the problem, cause you have to go over each split bar and do that

Agreed. Split Bar is a shipping plugin, so I can't update it. I think it would be a reasonable option to add to the plugin.

Actually, the plugin language ManuScript does not support the ability to add bar numbers without locking in the numbers. You really want to use the "Follow Previous Bar Numbers" option when you do this, and this is only available as a command in Sibelius itself.
