Hi All

The Export Audio Function does not always work instead of the wav symbol, I am left with the symbol (see attached).

By clicking onto this it can be opened and a drop down menu appears asking me which app I wish to open it with.

None of which is a wav compatible app. It is compatible, However, with Windows Media Player, which is not what I want.

Can anyone help with this Please?

You must name the exported audio file with an appropriate filetype suffix:
.wav for WAV files;
.mp3 for MP3 files.

Files named without a suffix will have valid contents, but will not be associated with a playback application, and will have a blank icon.
