How to play certain layer in one instrument?

Hello. I'm newbie to Sibelius.
I'm copying 4 layer chorale of Bach, with Organ instrument.
I wan't to listen to each 4 layer separately, but don't know how to.
How can I do this?

I succeeded select each layer, by ctrl + alt + shift + number of layer. But don't know how to play only selected notes.

I searched for long about this, but couldn't find advise. So i'm asking here finally.

By layers, I presume you mean voices. Select the voice (same keys as you used above) and alt-klik it to a staff of its own, then play that staff. Do you really have 4 voices all on one staff?

Perhaps he has Voices 1 & 2 on a treble stave, 3 & 4 on a bass one. Slightly less convenient than using 1 & 2 on each stave (all those Voice 1 rests to deal with on the lower stave) but I see why it might feel logical!

He could Select All, turn off Play on Pass in the Inspector, select just Voice 1, click Play on Pass back on...

(Wouldn't surprise me if there's a plugin called something like 'Solo selected Voice'?)

Solo or Mute By Voice

Version 01.55.00
Added 11 Dec 2011 (last updated 20 Jul 2019)

For use with Sibelius 6, Sibelius 7.1, Sibelius 7.5, Sibelius 8.x, Sibelius 18.x, Sibelius 19.x, Sibelius 20.x and Sibelius 21.x

This plugin lets you set the Play on Pass properties for all 8 passes to on or off for each of the 4 possible voices in a staff. It will function as a way to either solo or mute individual voices.

Updated 20 July 2019. Version 01.55.00. Added option to color muted notes gray, and unmuted notes black.
