Avid Link Login Issues
Posted by Keith John Hutchison - Ceiteach Seán Mac Úistin - 15 Oct 07:09AM
What is the point of making it so Sibelius First (Windows) won't run unless Avid Link is logged in ... then Avid Link displays a dialog with "Our login service is not available right now. Please try to login again later."?

The user experience is such that I'd be unlikely to recommend Sibelius First to any person who has limited computer technical skills.

Please make it so that Sibelius First can run without having a dependancy on Avid Link with a dependency on the net with a dependency on Avid Login services.

Cheers and thanks!

If it's any consolation, these kinds of issues are not restricted to Sibelius First. If Avid Link takes a dislike to you it will eat your soul - whichever tier of Sibelius you are on!

The trick is to have such an unpalatable soul that Avid doesn't want it.

The first thing to try is to shut down the operating system, then restart, let the system settle down for a few minutes, then try again.
