Hi there,

I have a running subscription of "Sibelius" (running til Nov 2020).

But: I would like to change it into "Sibelius Ultimate" right away. (Without needing to pay double of course.)

How is this possible?

Would be great if I could get answer here, rather than working through the Avid support.

If you purchased 'Sibelius' under the misapprehension that it was the full product - previously also called 'Sibelius' - you might find the folk at Avid prepared to modify your subscription (for a proportionate payment of course). They are as aware as we are of the confusion caused by the re-naming.

I expect someone from Avid will notice this thread and respond. If not, mail ingrid.guce@avid.com, who is one of the people who can deal with such matters.

I'm in the middle of a similar support request that has been open since this past Wednesday...one week ago. I purchased Sibelius on January 26th (in my case, I purchased the perpetual license), and I ran into some features that I realized were only available in Ultimate. I used the "crossgrade" page to by an Ultimate subscription. However, when I tried to use the code to activate, I couldn't. After contacting support, it seems that there is no way to move from the current version of Sibelius to Sibelius Ultimate. I'm happy to pay for the more expensive version, but it seems that there's no way to do that. In the meantime, I can't continue my project, as it depends on some Ultimate features. And I'm also stuck with a crossgrade/subscription purchase that I can't use. :(

Thanks all. In fact, I seem to have (unknowingly..., as of the name change) bought Sibelius two times. Not funny.

Now I'm looking at a way to migrate my old "Sibelius Ultimate" license to another machine. I started a new thread on this: https://www.sibelius.com/cgi-bin/helpcenter/chat/chat.pl?com=thread&start=741520&groupid=3

Thanks for the Ingrid recommendation, Laurence. While my issue is still pending, she was immediately responsive and helpful, and I think she'll help me though the issue.
