Got a new monitor, 1920 x 1080 (27 inches), connected via HDMI, for my PC on Win 10.
When working on a score, the notes aren't displayed properly.
The note stems are not linked to the note heads, and the heads (as well as breaks) are not precisely on the line of the staff. This can lead to misreadings.
When I "zoom in", at some point the notes are being correctly displayed, but then they are so big on the screen that I have only 2 measures, 2 staffs in the display.
With the old display, I did not have any problems, but it had a smaller resolution. I had to put it aside since the lighting kept flickering for a while when launching the PC.
So what can I do please?
Thankx.
The first screenshot shows the display errors, the second one shows the "zoomed-in" view of the same passage without the display errors.
Maybe I should add I deactivated "clear type" for better legibility of texts written in MS Office "Word".
Ok, thanks, I'll have to live with "ClearType" then. The error is gone, but after activating ClearType I had to relaunch Sib to see the score without errors.
The monitor was set to native display, my graphics card recognized the new device automatically.
