Hi,

I cannot make my Mac's trackpad zoom in/out by using the zoom gestures (pinch in/out). Is there a way to activate them?

Hello Paolo,

Try using Option+Command, and slide two fingers (either vertically or horizontally) on your trackpad! It's the only way I know how.

I use Better TouchTool and have set "pinch in/out" to cmd-/+. That will work until Sibelius officially supports the multitouch functions.

I'm afraid Sibelius does not yet support many multi-touch gestures. We hope to add support for this in a future version.

I would like to turn off the pinch zoom function in Sibelius. It is becoming increasingly frustrating as it is often zooming when I don't want it to. The pinch zoom is turned off in System preferences but it still works in Sibelius.

Which exact version/subversion of Sibelius is in use when you have this problem? Read off the version number from ribbon tab File -> Help -> About Sibelius.

I can not agree more! On the MacBook Pro it is nearly impossible to work Sibelius 8.1.1 with the trackpad. Unlesse someone can provide a clever solution to this misbehaviour: I will have to take a mouse with me..

This is a nightmare and the way I got around it was by connecting a mouse, thus bypassing the trackpad and associated problems.
