Sib. 6.1: How to swing the 16th note?
Posted by Metalpad - 22 Apr 04:28PM
I would like to know how to make Sibelius "Swing" the 16th note instead of the 8th note. I would like the dotted swing sound, and not the triplet 12/8 feel, for a section that has a constant 16th note rhythm. Applying "Swing" function to the 16th notes only swings the 8th notes (first and third 16ths) which gives an inaccurate playback. Any ideas?

"Swing 16ths" instead of "Swing"

Review the available articulations, rhythms, expressions, and other available items in the dictionary from the "Play" dropdown.

Make up your own words in the dictionary if you don't like what you find there.
