Sibelius 2 for Mac
These pages refer solely to the upgrade from Sibelius 1.x to Sibelius 2. All the improvements and many more are incorporated in the more recent upgrade to Sibelius 6.
Sibelius 2 is the first major music application to be 'carbonized' for Mac OS X, and also fully supports Mac OS 8.6 and 9.x. (Users with earlier Mac OS versions need to upgrade to Mac OS 8.6* or later.)
Sibelius 2's cool new look and feel complements Mac OS X's stunning Aqua interface - the redesigned toolbar, navigator and keypad all make working with Sibelius 2 faster and easier than ever before. Sibelius 2 also takes full advantage of all the other improvements in the new operating system, such as simpler MIDI setup.
Demo version
The demo of Sibelius 2 for Mac is now available here (in English and German).

Ordering an upgrade
Existing users in North/South/Central America and the UK can order the Mac upgrade now; users in other countries can order from their distributor. The Mac upgrade is priced the same as the Windows upgrade.
*Mac OS 8.6 is a free upgrade from Mac OS 8.5, but users of earlier versions of Mac OS should see www.apple.com for upgrade details.
