Sibelius Software Ltd acquires Australian distributor and establishes Sibelius Australia
London - 13 June 2005 - Sibelius Software Limited today announced the acquisition of its distribution team in Australia – and the formation of Sibelius Australia.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Sibelius Software Ltd, Sibelius Australia has been created through the acquisition of certain assets of Intelliware, Australia and through the bringing together of the entire Intelliware management team and staff around the expanding range of Sibelius music software applications and products as well as key third party products.
The business, which will begin trading formally on July 1st 2005, will be based in Adelaide, S. Australia with specialist staff in key locations throughout Australia. Sibelius Australia will be marketing and distributing all of the Sibelius range including the world's best-selling notation software Sibelius, the Sibelius Education Suite and G7 the guitarists' tool of choice.

Sibelius Australia will be led by; Managing Director, John Bienvenue, previously MD of Intelliware Pty Ltd who have been the distributor of Sibelius products in Australia for almost 10 years.
