82: Scanning - using PhotoScore without a scanner

Although it is more useful to have a scanner connected to your computer when using PhotoScore, it is possible to 'read' music without using a scanner. You will need your music stored as a graphics file on your computer in BMP (bitmap) format on Windows, or PICT (Picture file) format on Mac.

Photoscore 3 (and higher) can also read PDF files.

To turn a graphics file straight into a Sibelius score, simply choose File > Open in PhotoScore, and open the graphics file in question. You can then Read the score and send it to Sibelius.
