608: Volume and Pan problems with Concert and Marching Band

Problem:

Moving the volume and pan sliders in the Sibelius Mixer for the General MIDI drum instrument has no affect.

This is because the drum patch that is automatically loaded for the drum kit doesn't function correctly.

Solution:

You can download a new version of this file from here:

n-VDL General MIDI Set.nki

Un-zip this file and copy the nki file into this location to replace the old one:

Windows:
C:\Program Files\Concert and Marching Band\Instruments\05 Notation\03 Drums and Percussion\06 GM, GPO, and Finale

Mac:
/Applications/Concert and Marching Band/Instruments/05 Notation/03 Drums and Percussion/06 GM, GPO, and Finale

After you have replaced the file you will need to restart Sibelius for this change to take affect.
