Solution:

This error message is caused by a problem between Windows and your sound card or audio interface: when Windows is unable to communicate with your sound card, it reports the error to Sibelius, which in turn passes it on to you. The only solution is to correct the problem with the sound card, but in most cases this can be done by installing the latest drivers from the manufacturers' website.

We have provided a list of manufacturers' support sites out of courtesy. Please refer to your computer's or sound card's documentation for further information.
