508: Croches Blanches notation

Writing Croches Blanches notation is possible in Sibelius but there are a few things to be aware of.

Please find a score with the correct notehead style here.

In this score the diamond notehead style 2 has been changed:

  • The diamond is a more symmetrical diamond
  • In House Style, Edit Noteheads... the notehead was set to move 0.6 spaces right and left and was shortened by 0.53 spaces.
  • Leger lines turned off

These settings allow the notehead to be positioned correctly relative to the stem.

Due to the way Sibelius writes its stems, the leger lines appear off set. The above score has leger lines turned off allowing you to write these in manually from Symbols menu.
