417: Client computers won't connect to the licence server - UDP port.

One possible cause of this is if the UDP port isn't enabled on your network card. To check if it is enabled please try the following:

For Windows 2000: Find the Lan connection and open it and choose Properties. Choose TCP/IP and choose Properties. Click the Advanced button and then the Options tab to give you TCP/IP filtering. Click Properties and check that Enable filtering is off - the radio buttons are normally set to Permit All.

For Windows XP: as above, the Enable Filtering box is ticked by default but the Permit All radio buttons are all checked.
