410: EPS files - lower case Inkpen2 Script characters do not appear in EPS files

If you are using the PostScript (Type 1) versions of the Sibelius music fonts, you may encounter problems in EPS files whereby the lower-case letters of the Inkpen2 Script font do not appear.

This is due to a problem with the PostScript names of the lower-case characters in this font. We have provided replacement PostScript (Type 1) fonts for download which you should use instead.

Download the updated Type 1 fonts here. (146K, Zip archive)

To install these fonts:

  • First delete the existing Inkpen2 Script, Inkpen2 Chords, Inkpen2 Text, Opus Chords, Opus PlainChords and Opus Text fonts from your Fonts folder
  • Unzip the archive you downloaded
  • In the Fonts applet, use File > Install New Font, and navigate to the folder into which you unzipped the archive
  • Install the new fonts as normal.

Note that you will have to re-export the EPS files in which this problem is exhibited; simply installing the new fonts will not fix existing EPS files.
