39: Percussion - how to make single-line percussion (e.g. snare drum) play

Create a single-line percussion instrument in your score, then change its staff type to one of the pre-defined percussion staff types. To do this:

• In Sibelius 2 (and later): select a bar in the percussion staff, then choose the new staff type from the drop-down list in the Staves panel of the Properties window
• In Sibelius 1.4: choose Create > Staff Type Change, select a suitable Percussion staff type, and click in your score to create it.
