381: Creating PDF files via the 'Save as PDF' button in File > Print on Mac OS X

Due to a bug in Apple's implementation of Save As PDF in the File > Print in Mac OS X, PDFs created using this method include the currently selected printer's margins in their calculation of the image-able area, causing the PDF image and margins of the newly created PDF to shrink to an incorrect size.

The solution is to go to Page Setup, and create a Custom Page Size of 8.5x11 with zero margins all the way around. Save this setting as PDF LETTER, and the next time you open Page Setup, this page size will be available at the bottom of the page sizes list. Select this whenever you create a PDF file, and your margins as well as the image-able area of the PDF will now be correct.
