181: Lyrics - all syllables pasted onto a single note

Problem

When pasting text from the clipboard into lyrics, occasionally all of the syllables on the clipboard will be pasted into one lyric syllable. This is rare, but it can happen on slower computers in very large scores which contain lots of notes. This happens if you type Command-V or Ctrl+V more quickly than Sibelius updates the screen.

Solution:

Make sure you are running the latest version of Sibelius 2: download an update to Sibelius 2.11 here.

It may help to off the Allow space for lyrics option in House Style > Note Spacing Rule. After inputting the lyrics, turn this option back on, select the passage containing the lyrics, then choose Layout > Reset Note Spacing to space them out correctly.
