179: Lyrics - entering lyrics is very slow

On some machines, entering lyrics can be quite slow. If you experience this problem, make sure you are running the latest version of Sibelius: Windows users can download an update from Sibelius 2.0 to Sibelius 2.11 here.

Another thing that may speed things up is to switch off Allow space for lyrics on the House Style > Note Spacing Rule dialog.

With this option switched off, enter your lyrics (which will look scrambled), then turn Allow space for lyrics back on, and finally select the passage and choose Layout > Reset Note Spacing.
