138: Cross-staff beaming - removing duplicate accidentals

If you cross a note with an accidental into the staff above or below, the accidental appears on the new staff. If you cross other notes of the same pitch to the same staff later in the bar, the accidental will be restated unnecessarily.

To hide the duplicate accidental in Sibelius 3 and later, simply select the accidental itself and choose Edit > Hide or Show > Hide.

In Sibelius 2 or earlier, create a single-staff key signature change in that bar, as follows: when you create the key signature, switch on One staff only, then once it is in the score, select it and choose Edit > Hide or Show > Hide.

You may need to use a symbol for any accidental which needs to be visible but has been made invisible by the hidden key signature.
