105: Printing - crashes or gives errors

It is possible that the option Draw H-bar using a symbol option may cause problems with some printers, and may even cause Sibelius to crash in extreme circumstances.

To change this option choose the following menus:

• In Sibelius 2 (or later): Go to House Style > Engraving Rules... (Ctrl+Shift+E or Command-Shift-E) and then select Bar Rests on the left hand side and then untick the 'Draw H-bar using a symbol' option.
• In Sibelius 1: Go to File > House Style (Ctrl+H) and then select the Bar Rests tab and then untick the 'Draw H-bar using a symbol' option.

This option is switched off by default. If you experience problems printing, check that it is switched off. Note that this option is only useful if your score uses the Inkpen font in any case; if your score uses Opus, it makes no visible difference.
