What Composer Notes page number am I on?

How do I print multiple Composer Notes Volume 1 pages?


With a Composer Notes Teacher Kit, clicking the printer button will automatically print the current page. You can choose to print multiple pages by going to the File Menu and selecting Print.If you do this, remember that Composer Notes cannot be downloaded into the memory of many laser or network printers all at once. If you want to print a range or all of the pages simultaneously, it is best to a printer such as a bubblejet which transfers the information to the printer only as it prints.

It may be possible to print a large range or even all of the pages from a Laserprinter, but this depends on that printer's memory buffer. Check these details first. It may be a good idea to consult your school IT technician advising them that you wish to print a 50Mb pdf file with 500 pages.

Is there a track list for the Audio CD in the Teacher's Kit?

Each time you see an musical example in Composer Notes you will notice a small Compact Disc icon with a track number next to it.

If you are presenting pages to students in a classroom setting and you do not have a multi-media computer, you can play the examples with this CD using a standard CD player, simply by playing track (and index) indicated on the relevant Composer Notes page.

How do I quit Composer Notes?

If you are in Full- Screen Mode:

Press the "esc" key on your keyboard. This will put you into "book" mode, from where you can quit using the File Menu.

A Shortcut for Windows users:

In full Screen or "book" mode, press the Alt-F4 combination on your keyboard to quit immediately.

A Shortcut for Macintosh users:

In full Screen or "book" mode, press the Apple-Q combination on your keyboard to quit immediately.
