557: Audio export on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard on PowerPC Macs
If you are running Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard on a PowerPC Mac (e.g. an iMac G5, PowerMac G5, PowerBook G4, or iMac G4), please be aware that Sibelius's File > Export > Audio feature does not work correctly on versions of Mac OS X 10.5 earlier than Mac OS X 10.5.2.
When you try to export audio on Mac OS X 10.5.1 or earlier, Sibelius will display a progress bar and begin writing an audio file, but the file itself will be silent and continue to grow in size until you force quit the application (shortcut Opt-Command-Esc, then select Sibelius 5 in the list of running applications, and click Force Quit.
To update to the most recent version of Mac OS X 10.5, use Software Update in System Preferences or download the combo updater here.
