I am a relatively new user and have imported a piece of music in 2:2 (Cut) time, but am struggling to get the 5th bar right. As part of the import Audition has changed the notes and I cannot correct to get the 8 x 8th notes as it won't allow me to add the 8th note.

Advice welcome please.

What does 'Import' mean? Was this scanned with PhotoScore? It's important to correct all timing errors BEFORE transferring the score to Sibelius.

What is "Audition", and what connection does it have with the problem?

Should have read Sibelius - not sure where I got Audition from ....... Advice suggests I should have corrected timing errors, before importing to SIbelius, which I am now going to check.

Resolved by going back to Photoscore end editing there.
