Sibelius - the leading music composition and notation software

I have a saying - "you get what you pay for, and you pay for what you get". Neither first nor artist are worth having if you need real functionality.

Have you tried the right-click menu? If you have it, it will be under "Other-->Bracket or Brace" at the bottom of the menu.

Thank you for answer.
Since I am not good at English, I may have asked the question through a translator and it may not have been conveyed correctly.
I'm a light user, so I want to use the ultimate version, but I'm not the kind of user who can afford to pay that much.
Still, I bought it because I was willing to spend some money on it, but in my personal opinion, I think I said it was disappointing because I thought the bracket menu was basic.
I hope that the bracket or brace function will be added to the artist version in the next update.

That is highly improbable: so don't plan on it.

I don't know why the cut down version is named 'Artist' unless the user needs to be a real artist to work with its deficiencies. ;-)

You might want to try using MuseScore, which is a free Open Source program, which has fewer limitations that the Sibelius Artist and First versions. I tend to recommend this to new users as a way to get into notation software without having to spend a lot of money.

Thank you for answer. I am also using musescore, but as I use sibelius more, I have become more familiar with it. I think I need to think about using musescore.
