These scores contain examples of Time Signature Text objects, based of a design by Robin Walker, as described in a Facebook post

There he described creating a text object for a double time signature, where the second signature is in parenthesis. Here is his description of how he created such an object, using the Inspector:

I spent half an hour trying to get this @#$^%^$%#$@ forum sotware to accept the text. I gave up and an including the explanation as a screenshot.


I created some objects using Robin’s mechanism with the help of an unpublished plugin. I have created a set of scores, using different fonts, that contain examples of such text objects. A screenshot of one of the scores is attached.

These are meant to be copied into a score, and may be tweaked in the Inspector or by using the downloadable plugin Exit Formatted Text.

Thanks to Robin for coming up with this mechanism. I hope the scores will be useful.
