If you play it back at half the speed, the trumpet appears to be starting at the right time. At the written tempo it definitely seems to start the grace notes a bit early!

Thanx, Mike, for testing. I guess NP doesn't know how to handle that many grace notes. They're supposed to simulate a lip gliss on 1st & 2nd valves (a la 9th to 15th harmonics). Gliss lines have no time problem, but they are limited in style to white, black or chromatic notes, or portamento. Not much use for lip glissandi on a brass instrument. It would be nice if Sib allowed you to map the required notes, but it's probably a waste of time requesting such from the development team.
PS. I found a workaround. Write the gliss as proper notes in voice 2 and hide. Kill play on pass for the start note and gliss line.
