I've moved the Sibelius Sounds Library from my MacBook Pro M1's internal drive to an external SSD. I followed the instructions carefully and Sibelius prompted me for the new location of the library as expected. All seemed fine, except that I'm now getting no sound from the Sibelius samples. The Sibelius 7 Sounds.xml file in the Libraries folder (which I didn't move) shows the correct path for the new Sounds. Noteperformer plays back correctly.
I've checked everything I can think of, but without result. Can anyone suggest anything, could it be related to Big Sur? I've been using Sibelius for years and have successfully moved the libraries on different systems.
Puzzled...

Thanks Robin, the drive is formatted as case-sensitive. There's not much on in so reformatting isn't a problem. Is it safest to just reinstall the Sibelius Sounds library after this?
