Sibelius 2021.2 just bought standard Sibelius for non-renewable one year subscription - I forget what you call it. Installed on my new MacBook air M1 machine, 8 gb memory 1 TB disk. It installed fine, works, mostly, though automatic save isn't working (a message comes up do I want to keep retrying) Main problem is the sound isn't working and i can't find any way to get it working. Interestingly Photoscore Light sounds do work. In the ribbon at the top of Sibelius under the play tab, the Configuration button I think is greyed out. The mixer can't find any sounds. If I got to the setup box. there are four sauces displayed, including Sibelius Player as the fourth, but they do not respond to being clicked. I have tried restarting to no help. Is this a failure of the software to work with Big Sur and the M! chip? -but as I say, Photoscre works and so does MuseScore.
