For the third time I try and post this question! My keyboard is malfunctioning: the shortcuts do not work: for example, "Hide" brings a decrescendo, transposing by an octave brings only a single step, etc., etc. I have looked at Sibelius "Preferences" and then "Keyboard Shortcuts" but have no idea what to do. Please help!

Eugene, I have answered this question on the other forum, but I'll repeat what I said here:

I don't know much about these things, but they seem to just be overlays that give you more info about keyboard shortcuts. They don't AFAICT interact with the built-in KB. Therefore, check your language and keyboard type settings in your OS.
