What am I doing wrong. I cannot get rid of the VS at a page turn as shown on the page clip. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Try Parts/Appearance/AutoBreaks/PageBreaks/AddWarnings. Uncheck.

Hi there

From the picture, it looks as if this was entered manually, so selecting it and pressing delete should work. But perhaps you already tried that.

If it's not that, post the .sib file rather than a picture, and someone will sort it out for you.

Hope that helps

Ribbon tab Layout -> Breaks -> Auto Breaks -> uncheck "Add warnings at difficult page turns".

When I open your file, "Auto Breaks" look like in the attached screenshot – so it is simply to turn the warnings off. They will all disappear though. Not only on page 3 ...

(Layout tab > Breaks > Auto Breaks)

Edit: As Robin says :-)

Hi

I opened Layout > Auto Breaks, and unticked the box for 'Add warnings at difficult page turns', which worked.

The V.S. doesn't disappear from the score until you OK out of the Auto Breaks dialog box. Perhaps that suggested to you that it wasn't doing what you want, so you hit Cancel instead, which would have left things as they were.

Anyway, let me know if that doesn't work.

I tried my suggestion (at the top of this thread) in Andy's score but it doesn't cooperate. I suggest using Erik's suggestion and replace any warnings you need manually. I never use auto breaks. They're a pain in the derriere.

Nothing got left out when the menus went sideways and had silly pictures added. (Well, some useful functions didn't get into the Galleries, but they were still available if you knew where to look.)
