My plan auto-renews and is currently active. Avid Link showed 2020.9 as active. I went to the advice page and followed the advice to deactivate and then attempted to reactivate it. Now it won't activate. Avid has to be the most screwed-up company on the planet. Why the hell can't they get their act together? I've sent a couple of emails off to Ingrid but heard nothing.

Sorry, where and which email address did you send them? I haven't gotten anything from you yet, unfortunately. My email address is ingrid.guce@avid.com
Thanks.

Sorry I've just seen your message, there seems to be a delay with incoming messages on our email security. I've forwarded your issue to the Sibtech team so that they can call you. Thanks

I've upgraded and have encountered a similar problem to John Melby above.. have tried following the instructions of all the help articles and nothing's working.
I tried manually entering the license with my system & activation ID but that didn't work and now it won't let me deactivate. My correct license for Sib Ultimate is also sitting there on the licenses page in Avid Link eternally syncing and won't let me click on 'use license' (at one point it also said 'unavailable').
Case number is 04021011 - I've asked to arrange a call asap so someone can help me but haven't heard back yet. desperately need to get back onto Sibelius due to impending deadlines!
Where on the accounts page is the upgrade? On the Sibelius drop-down menu there are five things listed, but none says it is the upgrade. What am I looking for?
Sam - In a future release of Sibelius (maybe even the next?) please make it possible to enlarge the keypad a bit because it's quite small, yet there's a lot of important content in it which has to be constantly used.
I notice that others have asked about this too.
Hi Neil - this will require a fairly big undertaking even though the request is fairly simple. I'll add your voice to the feature request we have here.
Thanks for your reply, Sam. I didn't realise it would be such a big undertaking because I know very little about programming.
In view of the fact that there are so many people who have or develop problems with their sight for whatever reason, in the course of their life, it's surprising it wasn't thought of at a much earlier stage in development, especially since someone like me of mediocre or below average intelligence would think of it immediately as something fairly important when designing a program. After all, the notes on the score can be enlarged, no problem at all, so they thought of that.
It's on the list for further improvement, so we'll see if we can get to it sooner. If you're on Windows, be sure to check your monitor's DPI scaling. As you increase that, the Sibelius panels will enlarge too, so you may be able to get a larger keypad after all.
Just a quick update: Big Sur (macOS version 11) is going to be released on November 12. So far, I'm running the beta version and I currently have no problems with it.

Thanks again, Sam. When I tried that (changed display to 125%) everything on the desktop was magnified of course; but after reopening Sibelius it was exactly the same size with the keypad just as before, which is strange.
I can see it ok but would just like it a little bit bigger, or to have the option.
I read somewhere on a forum that the teacher of a partially sighted pupil was saying that she could make everything on the screen bigger for her pupil, except for the keypad, and was asking if anyone knew of a way to do so. It surely must surprise even you that no-one thought of it as of any importance years ago.
Anyway, I'm glad it's on your list.

Sibelius will scale DPI only to integral amounts of 100%, 200%, 300%, etc. If you set the system DPI scaling to 125%, then Sibelius will use the nearest integral value, 100%.
If you set the system DPI scaling to 150%, then Sibelius will scale itself to 200%.
