The click track has been great, which I turned on on the playback transport window. However, I turned it off so I could export a clean audio version. When I turned it off, the playback properly does not include the metronome click. However, when I export audio, the .aiff file still has the click track. (When I convert to MP3, it's still there). any ideas? thanks

I assume you muted the track properly? If you click the button once it only half mutes the click.

Hmm...in my version of Sib, the mute button on transport window only toggles between on, and off. Maybe there is some other metronome setting some where....

What worked, is, I deleted the metronome mark in the score. It plays at the proper tempo per the setting on the playback transport window, so problem solved!

Wot? You have completely confused me now. Did you have an actual metronome staff? Deleting a MM will not affect a click track apart from changing the speed.

I didn't have an extra staff for click track. I just had a text style/metronome mark, and clicked on 'metronome' button in transport window. It was a cool sounding cow bell sort of clunk, which I wanted to export in the audio, since some instrumentalists like to have a click track in the audio. Getting rid of the metronome mark finally removed the click from the audio export. Maybe I"m using a much older version than you?

Sorry, this makes no sense at all. Metronome Marks have no connection with metronome clicks. Maybe you did something else at the same time.

As I still have v 6.2 installed and recently found my discs for 3, 4, and 5, I seriously doubt that!

I rather suspect you are using the wrong terminology. Like Robin says "Getting rid of the MM finally removed the click from the audio export" Makes no sense at all.
