Problem with Updating to Latest Edition

I have tried to update my edition of Sibelius but received the attached error message: "Sibelius Download Failed - Update URL is Incorrect". See attached screen capture.Never seen this before. Where does the problem lie?

It may just be site overload. Keep trying for a couple more days.

Turn any antivirus software off while downloading and make sure your machine (or any part of it) doesn't go to sleep during the download.

Also, try downloading directly from your myavid account:

Hi Mike. Tried turning off my antivirus but still getting the error message. Also re booted the PC to no avail. Really annoying as we pay a premium annual fee for updates but cannot download them when come on stream. I know that I can install the latest version from my Avid account, but I would loose all my Aria/Kontakt settings and sound sets. I really do not want to spend a great deal of time reinstalling my Garritan sets. Presume all I can do is keep trying - very annoying.

This is not true. The installer is identical, whether downloaded from the web page, or downloaded in Avid Link.

Geoff, it's not a einstall, it's an update file. You should lose no settings (I certainly didn't.) I tend to update via my account as i hate the Avid link app.

Hi Mike. Many thanks for this and yes, I have successfully updated to the latest platform directly through my account. For some reason the Avid link would not work and like you, not a great lover of the app. Thanks to all those for help/advice/comment.
