Each time I try to start Sibelius 8.6, it tries to load 5000+ VST plug-ins. Sibelius crashes before it reaches the end of this.

Is this on Windows or on macOS?
Does the computer actually have 5000+ VST plug-ins installed?
If on Windows, this is usually caused by a user mis-configuration of the "Folders" list within "Audio Engine Options".
