Initial Tutorials

Hi, I'm having issues trying to start the initial Sibelius tutorials as my version "which I paid for" won't let me make my score current. It doesn't even have a "make current" option available in the Review>Versions tab? The Project 1 files all seem to be read only?
Has anybody had this problem?

The ability to "Make current" an internal version of a score is available only in Sibelius Ultimate.

If you are using plain Sibelius, then you will have to make do with clicking "Previous Version" until you find the version that you are looking for (each version will open in a fresh tab). But previous versions will all be read-only when opened in this way.

To suggest other ways forward, I need to know whether you are using Sibelius on macOS or on Windows.

I'm using Windows. Thanx for the reply also. I need to be able to have versions that I can edit to complete the tutorials? It just seems odd that even when I've paid for the program I can't edit the versions I need?

You appear to be trying to use the Tutorials for Sibelius Ultimate, rather than the ones designed for your tier of Sibelius.

In Windows File Explorer, please navigate to:
C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\
and see whether there is a sub-folder there called:
"Sibelius First Example Scores".

If so, use the sample scores inside "Sibelius First Example Scores" instead of the ones in "Sibelius Example Scores".

I'm using the usual Sibelius, like you said, the tutorials don't match? Anyhow I worked it out and thanx once again for your help;
-make a new score with the same instrumentation then copy the read only scores onto the new, editable scores. Relatively simple, just some trial and error. You have a great day. :)
