Is there a way to have Sibelius beam over rests in selected passages only? When I go to Notations>Beams>Over Rests it effects the whole score even when I've selected a specific passage. I know how to adjust individual cases via the third keypad menu but I was hoping to save time.

A workaround would be to turn beam over rests on globally.
In the passage where you don't want them – filter for rests and hit "9" (Edit: No – the key above 9 :-) on the third keypad. See attached file ...
