Custom Guitar Tuning Not Working

Hey there! I just created a new instrument from Acoustic Guitar[tab] and gave it the custom tuning CGCFGC under "Edit Staff Type," then created another new instrument for regular notation that referenced that instrument to use for string tunings. It doesn't appear to have made any difference to the chord diagrams and I 100% know they are still wrong. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Please attach a Sibelius .sib score file which demonstrates this issue: then we can investigate and find what is causing the problem.

Here's the sib file. The reason why I'm pretty sure they're wrong is that they conflict with the official tabs I got from the composer. I can attach that too if you like.

The lowest note on your guitar is E2, which is why the low C is shown in red to indicate out of range.

The chord diagrams (the first one anyway, I haven't analysed them all) seem to take your tuning scheme into account. The first one certainly produces a C5 (and certainly WOULDN'T with standard tuning!) But that isn't the ONLY way to get C5. Maybe the composer preferred one of the alternatives.

Did the composer offer notation plus occasional chord symbols? For this sort of guitar writing, particularly with a non-standard tuning, actual tab notation seems more appropriate.

From letter G your guitar changes to a 12-string guitar standard tuning. Before that, the chord diagrams seem to be all right ...

Ah, OK that must be it. I'm very experienced with most instruments but not with guitar, I didn't realize there were alternative fingerings. He did offer a previous chart he had created with different chord symbols, yes. That's why I thought it was wrong.

I'm having a slightly similar situation, but the root of my problem is that the custom instrument that I created in (I believe) the exact same way isn't showing up as an option to reference in the drop-down menu for the Chord Symbols. May I ask how you did it (and yes, I've restarted the software after creating it)?
