Appearance - send to back. Can text go behind notation?

Is it possible to send text behind the notation? "Appearance -send to back" won't take it further than on top of the score. I am marking some scores with the word "SAMPLE" diagonally across the page in a thick font. Even if the colour of the font is light it obscures the notation behind it. I would like the notation still to be readable and "in front".

Layers don't work for certain text objects, such as running headers.

No-one has yet found a useful way to automatically watermark every page of a Sibelius score. Is this what you're trying to do?

But manually-positioned Plain Text responds to Send to Back.
