multi rests

At 17 in the tenor saxophone part in the enclosed score, the multi rests is 1+15. I have asked about the same before and have noticed select barline - then in Inspector, uncheck and split multirest. I can't find "uncheck" in Inspector.

If the barline is selected you will find Split Multirest in the inspector under Bars. You can also find it in the ribbon under Layout/Breaks. You can normally restore a multirest by selecting the all the empty measures and hitting delete, but the sign symbol was preventing this.

OK, I know about Split multirest in Inspector, but what shall I do let it be 16 and not 15+1?

Hi there

The segno is breaking the rest. This happens in all the clarinet parts and the xylophone part too.

I would hide the segno in the part, and then attach a Technique text object to the same bar in the relevant parts: type % and change the font to Opus Std at 14pt. This won't break the rest. Set it to 'Show in Part' only.
