dear,
my symphonic piece is about 3,5 minutes long.
during audio play, when putting col legno, the entire piece col legno stays on strings. Even if I put arco afterwards. Any advise? I did check hidden object etc.

To cancel special techniques, insert a technique text item saying "nat."

one more thing, one instrument (double Basses) refuses to play col legno

If you are using the Sibelius 7 Sounds sample library, then I believe that there is no "col legno" sample for Contrabass, only for Violins, Violas, Celli.

On a more serious note, col legno works for contrabass in NotePerformer, and "naturale" or "nat." cancels it, but only when the abbreviation is followed by a dot (period).
